In 2024, I joined a workshop led by Alex Nail. We spent five days camping atop the Drakensberg escarpment.

We were blessed with incredible weather, giving us the chance to photograph the landscape in a variety of conditions.

In hindsight, I wish I had made more effort to capture the hiking experience - I was focused mainly on morning and evening photography, which although offered the best light, but it kept me from documenting the journey itself.
